Pigging Valve

The pigging valve is a new type of valve used as a pigging launching or receiving device, also having the function of a general two-position cut-off ball valve. It is special equipment indispensable for pipeline construction, cleaning, maintenance, inspection and management. The pigging valve combined with the pigging can more easily complete the work of pipeline cleaning, emptying, isolation and sequential delivery of the medium. It can completely replace the traditional complex pigging transceiver barrel.

The pigging valve is designed on the basis of the T-type three-way fixed ball valve after modification and addition of new functions. The valve can be opened or closed through the 90-degree rotation of the ball to realize double block & double bleed. The medium in the cavity can be discharged even in fully open or colsed conditions. A branch pipe is set on the side of the valve body, which intersects perpendicularly with the center of the pipeline. A quick-open blind plate and a vent valve are installed on the branch pipe for the convenience of putting in or taking out of the pigging. The diameter of the ball is larger, and one end of the ball hole is provided with a barrier that can hinder the passage of the pigging while allowing the medium to pass.
